ND Band Chooses BANG! Web Site Design and Dumps WordPress
Aggravation > Optimism > Excitement > Success at Last!
Justin McManus, University of Notre Dame Bands, Assistant Band Director contacted us and shared their aggravation with their current WordPress site. They explained that it was difficult to manage and it wasn't mobile friendly and it needed to be for their highly mobile students. Their search rankings on Google weren't as high as they would like them to be either.
Our solution: We started by researching the keyword phrases their prospective band musicians would search for and came up with a game plan to improve their search rankings. Then created a new design concept using Responsive Web Design along with our CMS (Content Management System) that now allows their staff to easily update pages with new text and images as well as updating the slideshow on their homepage to showcase the Band of the Fighting Irish.
Results: A training session after the site launced wowed them with the ease of making updates! When questions were asked regarding certain functions that frustrated them in the past could be done, we quickly responded with of course, that's easy to do. After their past aggravations, they seemed blown away with just how easy changes could be implemented on their new site.
